Job Description: This is your opportunity play a key role with a global supply chain team. In your new role, you'll be creating and implementing logistics and transportation strategies and incorporating best-in-class business processes and procedures.

Some of your first, exciting challenges will be to improve the service levels for all customers while at the same time maximizing savings, driving best practices and processes throughout our client organization.  This includes ensuring communication and education of these policies and practices in support of these goals.

This will be an ideal opportunity to showcase your teamwork and influencing/negotiating skills in a multiple business unit operation.

Here's what you need:
A bachelor's degree and 10+ years of logistics and transportation experience. You'll also need operational skills pertaining to all modes of domestic and international transport, including customer's brokerage as well as contract negations. Your technical knowledge should include background in several of the following areas: IATA, DOT, HAZ MAT NMCSA and CT-PAT requirements and programs.

Any exposure to SAP and similar logistical software optimization systems would also be considered a plus.
