Job Description: Global Engineering Executive to lead and manage a large-scale, high tech, multi-location team in designing and sustaining software and hardware development efforts in the broadcast server industry that include broadcast video servers, broadcast news / sports and compressed domain groups.
Location in Los Angeles CA area. Relocation available. Strong benefits to include stock options.
You will enjoy a highly visible position leading three broadcast server and product departments located in separate regions of the US plus two groups internationally. This is a challenging role with key responsibility for innovative product development efforts by focusing on hardware and software development resources to create these state-of-the-art products. Other key focus areas for you within the broadcast server market will be the design for manufacturability (DFM), custom designs to address specific customer requests, product efficiency (lower cost of operation) and product reliability.
Here's what you will need
You will have a BSEE degree or a related engineering discipline and 10-15 yrs of engineering management experience in product development and/or R&D / product management. This includes a background that includes a working knowledge of principles of P&L business management.
Your most recent experience should include broadcast or related industry background. You can move to the front of the selection process right away if you also have knowledge and experience in design of products for various international markets.
